A small open-air, bamboo-ceiling lobby furnished with cushioned chairs and potted plants includes an air-conditioned lounge. Outside the Royal Decameron's lobby is a building housing two gift shops that sell liquor, resort wear, and beachwear. A fitness center contains cardio and weight machines as well as free weights.
Children age 4–12 enjoy their own air-conditioned clubhouse with supervised activities. Two computers in a room off the lobby supply dial-up Internet access (surcharge). Nightly entertainment is offered on an open-air stage adjacent to the main pool deck. Daytime activities include games and contests.

The Royal Decameron offers a total of 180 rooms, including 136 white-stucco octagonal cottages with peaked wood-shingle roofs crowned by carved-wood yellow pineapples. Ceiling fans and louvered windows offer cooling alternatives to cottages' air conditioning. Television carries U.S. cable channels.
Decor and furnishings include rattan headboards, white tile floors, brightly colored fabric wall hangings depicting tropical fruits, two cushioned reading chairs, and dressers with makeup stools. Bathrooms contain stall showers (no tubs). In-room safes are available (surcharge).
